September 2007 - New Tae Kwon Do Black Belts
Black Belt candidates are the "Best of the Best" students that represent the highest qualities and principles of Tae Kwon Do. These candidates have been committed to years of dedicated hard work, mental and physical discipline, positive attitudes and role models, dojang contributions and participation at tournaments and events. Only one out of hundreds of students becomes a Black Belt!
Black Belt tests are conducted each year for qualifying candidates from Grandmaster Yoon's schools: Diens Martial Arts in Eureka, Missouri Martial Arts in House Springs, and World Martial Arts in Belleville. This year also included the promotions of school Head Instructors Dien Nguyen and Bob Wheeler. In addition to the rigorous Black Belt pre-tests given by the school Head Instructors, Grandmaster Chang Hee Yoon personally tests the candidates and awards them their new Black Belts. New Black Belts will receive Official Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters Black Belt Dan Certificates from Grandmaster Yoon. Kukkiwon Dan certificates are recognized by all the Official Olympic National Governing Organizations and Member Countries in the world, including USA Taekwondo (USAT) for officially sanctioned National level Taekwondo competition in the United States.
Congratulations to the students that successfully passed their Tae Kwon Do Black Belt advancement tests on September 22, 2007 and continued success with their new Black Belt Journey and increased responsibilities!
